Special values of multizeta and hypergeometric functions

We introduced hypergeometric function and multizeta analogs in function field arithmetic. We will explain definitions, properties, period interpretations, completely new kind of relations they satisfy, characterization of parameters giving algebraic functions and transcendence of special value results and mention some interesting open questions. Some of this is joint work.
