WorkshopsTaipei-Xian Number Theory Workshop
reads
October 13 - 15, 2015
Room 103, Mathematics Research Center Building (ori. New Math. Bldg.)
he objective of this workshop is to get together international experts working on the mathematically important and computationally challengeous intergable equations. The integrable equations of scientific importance include, for example, nonlinear Schrödinger equation, Camassa-Holm equation and Degasperis-Procesi equation in space-time or frequency domin. Long-time asymptotic solutions and their relevance to Painlevé equations of different types are also the main theme of this workshop. Besides the mathematical analysis of their mathematical features and exploration of rich physics, in this workshop we also invite distinguished speakers to present their recent developments on the computational aspects. To attract students and faculties entering into this mathematically important area, we also invite internationally distinguished speakers to give us tutorial courses.
