First week: January 6 ~ 7, 2025, Room 101, Astro-Math Building, NTU
Second week: January 20 ~ 21, 2025, O301 (三樓會議室), Dept. of Mathematics, NCKU

Goal: The derived category is an important object in homological algebra and has wide applications in algebraic geometry. TIMS and NCKU will be hosting a four-day seminar on the foundation of derived category and related topics. The goal of the seminar is to review basic knowledge and techniques for working with derived categories, with an emphasis on the derived categories of coherent sheaves on algebraic varieties.

Content:
1. The six-functor formalism
2. t-structure and perverse sheaves
3. D-equivalences and K-equivalences
4. Matrix factorization category
5. Derived category and motives
