Dr, Chen-Yu Chi is visiting TIMS from December 12, 2011 to January 12, 2012. During his visit he is going to deliver a series a lectures on recent development on the mathematical study of T duality and SYZ conjectures from the point of view of affine geometry and Monge-Ampere equations. In particular he will start with Yau's famous proof of Calabi conjecture and then move to Gross-Siebert's recent work on Lagrangian fibrations.
