In this talk, the speaker will talk about existence of multiple solutions for a free boundary problem of an elliptic equation. When some parameter is large enough, the solutions obtained are positive only in some domain called “plasma sets”. For any given integer k, there is a solution with exactly k plasma set. Furthermore as the parameter becomes large, the plasma sets become smaller and smaller. This talk is based on a joint work with Peng Shuangjie and Yan Shusen.
