Nonparametric Estimation of the Joint Distribution of Survival Time and Mark variables

An overview of the paper 〝Nonparametric Estimation of the Joint Distribution of Survival Time and Mark variables〞by Huang and Louis (1998) is given. They established a representation of the joint distribution function through the cumulative marker-specific hazard function and proposed nonparametric estimators. The finite and large-sample properties of the estimators are also developed. A possible research topic and extension will be explored in this talk.
