Concentration phenomena for some singularly perturbed elliptic PDEs

We study singularly perturbed elliptic equations arising from models in physics or biology, and investigate the asymptotic behavior of some special solutions as some parameter tends to zero. We also discuss some connections with related problems arising in differential geometry.
