Particles and fields are building blocks of the universe. Space exploration of the last fifty years has revealed that 99% of the matter in the universe is in the state of ionized gas, the so-called plasma. Physics of plasmas is governed by a set of first principle laws describing the interaction of many charged particles with electromagnetic, gravitational and/or other fields which is regarded as the frontier of complex systems. In this talk personal vision and insight are shared of the mathematical characteristics and richness of the particle and field system; new equations, functions and methods of analysis are posed to mathematicians for consideration.
